Hola.

Yes, yes, another day, another blog and yet another blogger. I however am not new to this game. I’ve been writing online for over five years now and have finally taken professional steps to make my blogging/writing look crisp and clean.

In fact, I keep a professional blog on my industry. What is that industry you ask? Well, I don’t want to get too much into specifics but let’s just say I am in the media business. I learned long ago that it is a difficult thing to mix blogging (freely) and business. Whatever you write online someone will find and no doubt if there is something you didn’t want someone to read they will find it.

I, however, need an outlet to document my day-to-day activities, thoughts on news and pop culture and an all around storytelling outlet outside of my professional blog. That being said, I plan on keeping my identity here fairly anonymous. Sure, for the more intrepid folks out there it would probably be easy to figure out. But for everyone else I assume my identity should be unnecessary.

The reason I am starting yet another new blog is that I am in a period of great change and transition in my life. I recently graduated college (B.A. in journalism), I just accepted a new media job at a very large and amazing company, and soon I will be moving 1,600+ miles away from my hometown and family and to a city where I know absolutely no one.

Yeah, that’s a lot of change. So there you have it, be prepared for a fair amount of random commentary, stories and other assorted Internet jabber. Thanks for playing, come back and see us.
