Election Day

The big day is finally here and (hopefully) all those eligible are casting their vote.
Stepping back from all of the politics today I started to think again about the actual process and what it all means. This happens every election cycle for me, both national and local. Standing in line at my (new) polling place, seeing people excited to vote and taking part in one of the big unifying, American experiences is amazing, beautiful even. Even if our votes are different and we don't agree on candidates or issues, it's still a great thing.
Watching the process always makes me think ...
